Jim Dixon, Jr.
Board Chair
Jim grew up in Lacombe and moved to Edmonton to obtain degrees in chemical and environmental engineering from the University of Alberta. Since moving back to Lacombe, he has been employed by Borouge International (formerly NOVA Chemicals) at the Joffre Petrochemical Facility. As Chair of the Lacombe Health Trust since its inception, Jim has been an integral part of funding a number of important enhancements to our local hospital, including the renovations of the Emergency Department and the front lobby. Jim is also actively involved as a volunteer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.
Corey Gish
Vice-Chair
Corey has been a part of the community of Lacombe since childhood. After completing her post-secondary education at the University of Alberta and the University of Victoria, Corey returned to Lacombe to open up her own law firm and raise her family. Since establishing her business, Corey has been involved as a volunteer in a wide range of organizations in the local community. We welcome her experience at the Lacombe Health Trust, where she has been a board member since 2014.
Kelly Treleaven
Treasurer
Kelly lived in Lacombe for many years, where he and his wife, Shelly, raised their children and owned a small business. He worked as a bank Manager for RBC before retiring in 2026, and now resides near Gull Lake. Kelly has always been active as a community volunteer with the Lacombe Fire Department, Lacombe Kinsmen Club, Lacombe Curling Club and a minor hockey referee. In his free time, Kelly enjoys golf, fishing, camping and curling.
Angela Law
Secretary
Angela is a partner at the Lacombe office of MNP Chartered Accountants. She grew up in Central Alberta and was raised in Sylvan Lake, and moved to Lacombe in 2006 with her husband, Cheyne. They raise their two children in the community and have been involved in the Dolphin swim club, minor hockey, ringette, figure skating, and dance. She also spent 10 years on the board of the Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce. Angela enjoys living and doing business in Lacombe and joined the Lacombe Health Trust Board to give back to the community.
Steve Christie
Steve and his wife, Cheryl, have enjoyed life in Lacombe for many years, along with their two grown daughters and several grandchildren. Steve has shown his passion for our community through his service in many roles in the Church, Rotary, Volunteer Fire Department, City Council, and numerous committees, and as the former Mayor of the City of Lacombe. Serving on the board of the Lacombe Health Trust reflects his dedication to finding positive ways to enhance the delivery of healthcare services to our city and the surrounding area.
Ron Keller
Ron was born and raised in Medicine Hat and graduated from the University of Alberta medical school before settling in central Alberta. He spent a decade in a rural family practice in Bentley, followed by 32 years in Lacombe, and acted as Chief of Medical Staff at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre for over 10 years. Ron was the team doctor on a month long climb of Mount Logan, and has volunteered to do medical work in Rwanda, Vanuatu, and on a medical ship to remote islands in Papua New Guinea. His more recent volunteer activities in our community include Meals on Wheels and Echo Food Rescue.
Traci Law
Traci was born and raised in the Lacombe area, and after graduating from university, she returned to Lacombe, where she has been employed by Servus Credit Union since 2013. Traci played many sports in Lacombe in her youth, and since her return, has spent many hours volunteering for Lacombe Minor Hockey as a coach. Her community involvement also includes several years on the Board of the Team Jigger Foundation.
Jason Lunn
Jason was born and raised in Lacombe and has been a co-owner of D&M Concrete since 1994. He and his wife, Colette, have three adult children, who have kept Jason busy coaching and watching ringette, hockey and football. Jason has been an active member of the Lacombe Kinsmen Club, vice-president of Lacombe Minor Football, and is the driving force behind the Team Jigger Foundation. He sees his role at the Lacombe Health Trust as another way to give back to the community.
RoAnna McLenahan
RoAnna is a physiotherapist and co-owner of Lacombe and Blackfalds Physiotherapy Clinics. She values and promotes all efforts to network with healthcare providers within Lacombe and surrounding areas to provide excellent healthcare services to our community. RoAnna moved to Lacombe in 2007 with her husband Tim and two kids, who were actively involved in ringette, volleyball, and basketball. RoAnna enjoys working as part of the Lacombe Health Trust board to learn more about the ongoing health care needs within our community.
Denise van Nieuwkerk
Denise is a self-proclaimed “country girl” who was raised near Bashaw. In 1976, she began working as a Registered Nurse at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre, where you may have seen her in the Emergency Department during her 40 years on staff. Currently, Denise and her husband farm and run an oilfield company near Clive, and have 2 children and 6 grandchildren who provide enjoyment on a daily basis. After retiring, Denise has found many ways to be involved in community activities, including as Chair of the Lacombe Palliative Care Society and Vice Chair of the Clive Library Board.
