Every year, the Lacombe Hospital Charity Golf Classic works to raise funds to purchase much-needed equipment for the Lacombe Hospital. See what equipment we were able to fund last year and what we are working towards this year.

Vein Finder for Emergency Department

This vital equipment is designed to make locating veins easier and more accurate, resulting in fewer pokes and quicker procedures, benefiting both patients and healthcare providers.

Equipment Goal for 2026 Lacombe Hospital Charity Golf Classic

Pyxis Medication System

Our goal for the 2026 golf tournament is to raise partial funding for the Pyxis medication system. It is an automated dispensing system designed to improve patient safety, streamline nursing workflows, and manage medication inventory at the point of care. It will allow nursing staff to safely and efficiently dispense the right medications to the right patient at the right time.

Help as a Volunteer

Not a golfer—or at least not this year? You can still be part of the day as a volunteer. We always appreciate the individuals who donate their time to help us in:

Providing instructions to golfers and/or handing out prizes on a contest hole
Processing golfer check-in and registration in the clubhouse
Selling mulligan and raffle tickets
Watching and verifying hole-in-ones
Helping with general setup and cleanup duties
