Candace and her family have had roots in Lacombe since 2001. A Registered Nurse at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre for 13 years, Candace recently transferred to the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton to gain trauma experience. She has a passion for rural nursing, and continues to volunteer in Lacombe at community initiatives in support of our local health care system. Empty nesters after having raised 4 children in Lacombe, Candace and her husband Scott enjoy watching their children continue to grow in their professions, and expand their families with grandchildren. She is happy to be able to take the time to volunteer on the LHT Board with the goal of enhancing health care in the community that has raised and continues to shape her family.
